Every child in the program has a dream career yet very few are clear with what to do to make their dream come true. Offering the kids information on different careers and exposing to ones they may not even have heard of, if one key goal of the program at Poveda.On the feast of Fr. Poveda after whom the foundation is named, i.e. 28th July, the children met with Ms. Anita More, Deputy Superintendent at the CID Pune. Ms. More, took the kids through her personal journey of study, determination and hardwork to allow her to be what she is today. She shared information on different entrance examinations to a variety of government posts and encouraged them to think of a career with the government. Why should we only criticize the government and not become a part of them to make a difference?
Komal and Shakeel, students at the Morwadi centre who aspire to join the police and a few boys who want to join the army had several questions answered.
