The Poveda Foundation was formed in 2009 with a mission to impact the education of children from low income communities.
The disparity in the opportunities that the lesser privileged have access to is alarming, what is worse is the inequity in the education system and the absence of pedagogy, attitude and diligence in many classrooms.
We believe at Poveda, that every child has the right to good education. We believe that good education must start early, is for all, is not just the text book and is multi- faceted. Our vision is a community where children empowered with intelligence and character become responsible citizens of the world.
